A New Roof

"Men With Tools" is a group of men who provide assistance with handyman chores for the elderly and others in need in our community. Open to all men (age 16 and up) who are willing to help, the group meets for breakfast at 7:00 a.m. on the third Saturday of every month to discuss and plan the work to be done for our care receivers from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. that morning. Our goals are to both help those in our own church community and in the wider local community, and to provide opportunities for men to put their faith into action by helping others (and enjoy the satisfaction of helping someone in need).  Men With Tools

If you'd like to know more about joining the team, or if you, or someone you know, has a need for assistance with light handyman work, please This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

All men of the church (and friends) are invited to join us in the Fellowship Hall for a hot breakfast on the third Saturday of every month at 7:00 a.m. Even if you're not sure you'll be able to participate in providing the services, please come along and enjoy the good food and company!

A Recent Project

In April 2012 we cleaned up some fallen trees, including one that had fallen on a shed, and fixed a roof leak for a local family - see the slideshow below.

Our Biggest Project

In July 2009 we built a new deck for a family who had lost their husband and father to cancer. [We no longer take on significant construction projects like this - we now focus on tasks that be completed by up to four men in two hours.]

CLick here for a slide show of that project.
