In addition to many opportunities for hands-on mission work, LUMC supports a large number of missions with our financial contributions.  We do this both through our mission-share funds paid to the New England Conference of the United Methodist Church, and with payments to many missions we have chosen to sponsor directly.  Some of these are supported through special fund-raising events or "mission of the month" giving, and others are allocated a portion of our tithes and offerings.
