On Friday and Saturday June 19 and 20, 2009 a team from Londonderry United Methodist Church participated in the Relay For Life.  The team raised approximately $3000, and with a matching gift from Tastefully Simple were able to contribute $6000 to the American Cancer Society to help fund cancer research.
