Belinda Forbes Visit

Dr. Belinda Forbes, our missionary in Nicaragua, will be visiting with us on Monday, May 13. We are planning on sharing a meal together at 6:30 that night and then Belinda will share an update on her work providing dental care and other services in Nicaragua. Click here for more information.

Change the World Sunday

On Sunday, May 19, we will be partnering with our friends at The Vine In Haverhill, MA on an outreach mission project. Plan to save the afternoon to travel with church friends of all ages over to Haverhill and help throw a block party. Click here for a slide show and information about last year's event.

Mission of the Month

Our May Mission of the Month is Dr. Belinda Forbes. Dr. Forbes is a fully commissioned missionary with the General Board of Global Ministries of the United Methodist Church. This is the tenth year that we have supported her work. She is currently serving in Nicaragua as part of Accion Medica Cristiana (AMC). AMC is a Nicaraguan non-government organization that works to carry out health development projects on the Atlantic Coast and other regions of Nicaragua. Belinda is a dentist assigned to the AMC clinic in Managua. She provides dental care directly to patients, coordinates subsidized care agreements, trains other dentists in continuing education, and is a general liaison with groups who come to Nicaragua.
